Deckspade

Terms of service

Last updated November 3, 2026. "We" is Octachain Inc.; "you" is the person who subscribes.

  1. Licence. A personal, non-transferable licence to run Deckspade for your household on one computer while your subscription is paid. Your plan sets how many people the program holds. No reselling, no sharing your key outside your household, no removing the licence check.
  2. Who. You are 18 or older and live in the United States. We sell only to people we know, and we may decline any request.
  3. Price, renewal, cancelling, refunds. As on the main page, which is part of these terms. Both plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online. Within 30 days of your first payment or of a yearly renewal we refund that payment in full; a refund ends that subscription. A failed payment is retried, and the program works fully for 14 more days.
  4. After payment ends, or if you are over your plan's people limit for 14 days. The program is read-only: you can view, search, export and delete your data. We never delete it or hold it back.
  5. Your data. It stays on your computer, with the backups the program makes there; we hold none. If you lose both your password and your recovery key, nobody can open it, us included. Keep the recovery key on paper, away from the computer, and your backups in a second place.
  6. Not advice. Deckspade is an organizer. It moves no money and gives no financial, tax or legal advice. Its reminders do not guarantee that a payment is made; check amounts and dates against your statements.
  7. Limits. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. That does not limit liability for fraud, deliberate harm, gross negligence, breaking the law, or anything else the law does not allow a contract to limit.
  8. Changes. A change to these terms or the price takes effect at your next renewal, and we announce it by email at least 30 days before.
  9. Disagreements. California law applies. No arbitration. You may use small claims court or the courts of your own county.
